How exciting it was to record these powerful & inspirational Hymns of the church. While it seems music has changed so much over the years, these great Hymns will for ever stand the test of time. Hymns were & always will be the foundation on which Christian/Gospel Music was founded & created. It was difficult to come up with only 11 of these great songs but our prayer is these that were chosen will be a blessing to you.

This project was different than any project we have ever done. It was a first for us as a trio. As most of you know R.W. Hammond, long time bass singer with the Gospelmen, retired January 3, 2010. We also went back in the archives & re-recorded a few of the songs done years ago as a quartet. We did some rearranging in the vocals and freshened them up a bit, along with a couple of new songs and a familiar one (or two) as well. We hope you enjoy the "new sound".

We have gone back and picked up a few classic songs as well as some brand new ones. However, they all have that “special” Bob Caldwell touch. This project has a very nice mix for whatever “flavor” you may enjoy!

This CD was our first totally produced by The Eddie Crook Company. We recorded this project at The Family Room Studio in Hendersonville, TN. Features Gregg Martin's powerful patriotic song; “In God We Still Trust” and the moving ballad “God Only Cries.” The album closes with piano accompaniment by Mr. Eddie Crook himself on the beautiful “How Great Thou Art.”

Now this CD was, without a doubt, one of the most enjoyable & just plain fun projects we have ever done! Features classics like “Goodbye World Goodbye” and “Just A Little While”. But the most enjoyable song was the old Statesmen classic “Faith Unlocks The Door.” Don't miss R.W. Hammond doing a fantastic job on his dear friend George Younce’s song “Yesterday.”
