We Are The Gospelmen!
The Gospelmen began singing in 1985. We call Genesee, Michigan home. Genesee is 12 miles northeast of Flint. The Gospelmen are:
Tim Herbert (tenor), Scott Davis (lead), and Gregg Martin (baritone & manager), along with Todd Brewer (sound engineer)
As the name indicates, the Gospelmen are just that - a Gospel group with a Southern & Traditional Gospel flavor. While there have been a few personnel changes since the beginning, we are proud to say the core of this ministry has not - we sing to lift up the name of Jesus Christ in song!
While there are several denominations represented in this group, each member proclaims Jesus Christ as Lord! Each member is a born-again Christian who feels a definite call on his life to serve and work diligently for the cause of Christ! We just want to see lives changed. Transformed and definite decisions being made to follow Christ!
The Gospelmen are members of the Mid West Quartet Association (MWQA).
The Gospelmen perform approximately 100 dates per year & travel several thousand miles each year.
