To my many friends, family and Gospelmen fans,

As many of you know, I have not been on the road with the Gospelmen since last September. Labor Day weekend found me in Genesys emergency with severe appendicitis. Following surgery, serious infection and six days in the hospital I had a setback known as shingles develop due to my down immune system. Through the prayers of many friends, God has healed me completely and I praise Him for this.

During this time of healing, reflection, prayer and consideration I have come to a decision. As of Sunday, January 3rd I am stepping down from the platform and the group. I am at peace with this decision. I will spend some important time with my family in California, other family down state and my local church. Life is short.

After twenty years with the Gospelmen, I can say it has been an honor and a privilege to minister to thousands across Michigan and other states along side the past and present members of this group. We are all brothers in Christ. I wish to personally thank all for your prayers, support and friendship. May God continue to bless you all.

To each of the Gospelmen and their families, I love ya'll. It has been a great ride. I will continue to support you in prayer and friendship as you continue on singing "Southern Gospel" - the best music this side of Heaven.
